Just a Thought

I'm putting this thought in a visible place where it will daily inspire/comfort/focus me. Worthy goals, and beautiful.

"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely; await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common: this is to be my symphony."

Cissy;

Thanks for sharing that....I just went through a day of "but the Joneses have" I think it all started when our roof started leaking and then I think of all the things that our house needs...and that i "need" and christmas coming up....and i get overwhelmed...but this quote calms and soothes, and reprioritizes....

Thanks!

Love the quote. I admire good writing that speaks volumes with few words.
