She does open her eyes! I took this photo of her tonight: almost three weeks old, a very quiet baby, channeling Grandmother Rasmussen a bit (according to her doting dad), possibly out-weighing her sister already (as observed by a certain uncle).

She is so cute...I love the cuddly newborn stage. (For the most part) I can't believe she was 8 lbs, you looked tiny. So glad she is here and healthy, seeing her makes me excited for our next little one!
