Usually I am sad to see all the beauty of Christmas packed back into boxes, but this year I packed mine up only a few days after Christmas. I got tired of my pathetically half decorated tree (all ornaments, lights, tinsel, etc had to be out of Lucas' reach); it was more of an eyesore than a beautiful reminder of the holiday:)
I'm with you, Cissy! We took down our real tree cuz the needles were falling off rather fast, but I've left everything else up. I always start with the winter blues in January, so I decided this year to leave up the decorations through the month so that I can enjoy the lights and color. If it'll keep my mood up, it's worth it!!

I was enjoying all your lovely photos and realized I've never even seen your house and it looks so cute!

How come the Rasmussen's are such a moody/bluesy bunch?
Because we are such a passionate bunch! :)
Cute, cute house! I want to come see it sometime. I would leave my stuff up too if I wasn't so tired of Braxton rearranging it all everywhere. : )
my tree is still up. Andy says i have to take it down soon. Maybe in February. I like it.
