Here is the result... 
I was going for "vintage", but may have ended up a little bit "pioneer". The point is that I actually finished a project that is wearable. Jamie Beth and I like it.

A finished project!?!

I love it! You did a great job.
You did a great job; the dress turned out darling. It's a more substantial version of a pillowcase dress, and just right for summer. Was the boutique in Alexandria, by chance, Why Not? Right there in Old Towne, it's my favorite for my girls, and also where my mother shopped for me in the 70s.
